Can i use RAM from my acer notebook in my new compaq noptebo

Hi i broke lcd on my acer notebook so i bought compaq noteebok..and now i wondering if i can use memory RAM from Acer in Compaq.

check the RAM of both laptops. if their speed are the same there should not be any problem.

Yes, take one stick of ram out of each computer, put them together, and compare everything on the labels. If the labels both have the same Voltage, and are the same type, then you more then likely can use it.

If the ram is of the same type there should be no problem. Ideally though ram should always be used in matched pairs if there are 2 sockets. http://www.trilogicuk.co.uk
