How Do I Use The Infrared On My Acer Aspire Notebook?

I have an Acer Aspire 4520 notebook with infrared, but i have no idea how to use it. I have searched the computer and found nothing about it. Can anyone help?

dude just turn on the infarared on your cell phone and place if infront of the infarared on your pc and wal la it should work now
