Reinstalling windows vista on acer notebook ?

Hi all,
I have acer aspire 5050 notebook with windows vista. but there is no windows cd with it.I want to reinstall the windows. I tried f10 when window is opening and it did not work.
please help!

of course it can't..apparently you will need the CD..

If that didn't work get two dvd's and burn the os from your hidden partition to the dvd's. This website shows you how to do it...http://en.kioskea.net/faq/sujet-2040-ac ... y-settings.

F10 is system Restore.In Windows Vista Home Basic you had to create 2 recovery disks youselves.when windows are functional.
Go to Start buttn.All Programs,click PC Help and Tools.Click Recovery Disk Creator.The Recovery Disc Creator windows appears.
Follow the onscreen instructions. Label discs: Recovery 1,Recovery 2
