Instead of the Windows Vista desktop, it has something called the "ASUS Express Gate." Is it it possible to make it show the Windows Desktop. It was purchased at Best Buy, and the demo computer showed the desktop, so I know that its possible.

right click anywhere on the desktop(other than a icon) and go to personalize. Pick your desktop background there.
