Is it safe to buy Notebook (Asus G50VT-X1) in eBay or Amazon

I saw a very cheap notebook ($739.00) on eBay and Amazon, and it's really tempting me to buy it, but I never bought stuffs from eBay or Amazon, and I wanted to know which one of them are more reliable, and in which one of them can I get a better quality one. I appreciate ANYONE who is willing to take time their time and answer my question.

I think eBay ... if u pay it by paypal ...ur money is secured and can be refunded if product is nt delivered . SO must look at seller's rating and feedbacks and see how many products has he already sell within last 2-3 months .
