My new lenovo notebook webcam doesnt work?

i recently bought a lenovo notebook with inbuilt webcam. when i wanted to use it with my YM it says "CAMERA NOT CONNECTED" . What should I do to make my webcam useful?

send it back to the place you bought it it is still probubly under warenty

Did you try to test your webcam using other software like Skype or Windows Movie Maker???

Inbuilt camera failure is rare.

Usally it's that the camera is Turned Off.

Check in the instruction manual for a Key Combo that turns the camera on and off.
