battery included is 8 cells 65whrs. i got an average battery life of 1,5 hours normal usage. is that right?

Instead of the Windows Vista desktop, it has something called the "ASUS Express Gate." Is it it possible to make it show the Windows Desktop. It was purchased at Best Buy, and the demo computer showed the desktop, so I know that its possible.

My notebook gets hot where the video card is. Is there a way to slow it down and underclock my laptop when I am not using it for graphic intensive activities?

I am trying to download a Yahoo Messenger from a ASUS Linoux but i dnt knw why it's not working. There is already a programmed Messenger when I bought this notebook but I dnt knw how to make this work and live chat with webcam and mic to my colleagues. Hope to receive any advise. am buying the new ASUS gaming laptop G50VT-A1. In canada this model comes with Windows Vista only, but I want to dual boot my computer with XP and Vista. Is there any place I can download drivers for XP and then dual boot my notebook with XP and Vista on it.

I have found updates for this driver for HP notebooks, but not for Asus. The most recent driver update from the Asus website is almost a year old, and I cannot find it on the ATI website. Can anyone help?

well, im 13 and looking 2 buy my first laptop, and a REALLY want the asus mini surf notebook. problem is, i dont have $299.99. i really want this computer cause its so small and really cute and just perfect for me cause it holds media and schoolwork. anyone know a place ONLINE where i can get a BRAND NEW NEVER USED asus mini surf for cheaper than $299.99?

I've got an ASUS notebook with Windows Visa. My question is: how can i close it but still letting it run? because my little sister always closes the lid but then it's off, so i want it ONLY to shut down if I use the "shut down" button. I know this question is a little vague but i hope you guys can still help me out
