DigiTimes is reporting that Lenovo and Toshiba will begin selling smartbooks by year’s end which is a great new for our community.



According to them Toshiba will be releasing their smartbook with Nvidia Tegra and Android OS as we mentioned. Its interesting to see that Toshiba's new AC100 is their starter model to get into the smartbook space.

Lenovo's President Rory Read tells CRN that both the Skylight and the IdeaPad U1 are to be available before the end of the year 2010. We did expect it to have Android instead of the Skylight OS that it was supposed to come out with as Android have got well establish in the mobile computing space.

It seems that another laptop manufacturers are showing interests towards the Smartbook space as it was spotted by Blogeee that a model has shown up called the Toshiba AC100-114 mini laptop.



It is reported that this smartbook will feature a NVIDIA Tegra process and will run Google Andriod 2.1

Hello Everyone! How is everyone doing???

Its a good news because now you will have access to all the apps that have been developed for Andriod. Not all are going to work but I am assure you that many will actually work.



What this means is that the Skylight will be delayed until the new OS is put in. Its however said that we can expect the Lenovo Skylight on the 4th quarter of 2010
