In my previous post I posted a message regarding Toshiba AC100 being available in UK soon, but it turns out that It is likely to be shipped to Europe as well.



A French retailer Darty is taking pre-orders for the Toshiba AC100 and it is said to be available in stock within the next 15 days.

The Tosiba AC100 smartbook is going to be the first smartbook to be available on the smartbook space. It is available in Japan but it seems Toshiba UK is also planing to offer the AC100 soon.

The UK model is said to have 128GB of solid state disk and 512mb of RAM.

According to a post at Download Squad it seems that Google is planing to launch a Chrome OS tablet some time soon.



Specification are still not sure but I am guessing that it would be a Qualcomm chip in the device. The device is told to be sold in contract with Verizon and the most interesting part is that a launch date has been notified as well by the sources.
