Toshiba AC100 Android Smartbook goes to Europe Soon

In my previous post I posted a message regarding Toshiba AC100 being available in UK soon, but it turns out that It is likely to be shipped to Europe as well.



A French retailer Darty is taking pre-orders for the Toshiba AC100 and it is said to be available in stock within the next 15 days.

I have mentioned the specs before, but I will just go thorough them quickly so that you can see them :
1024 x 600 pixel display, 512MB RAM, and a 16GB SSD. The pricing from Darty is €299, or about $380 - $390 USD.

Netbook News, has reported that Toshiba AC100 should be available in Japan this Friday. They said that the smartbook will be released with Android 2.1 but an upgrade to 2.2 will be available soon which would enable the use of flash.
