Toshiba AC100 Smartbook Review

Its interesting to see that Toshiba's new AC100 is their starter model to get into the smartbook space.

• 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 250 SoC (Dual Core ARM Cortex-A9 MPCore processor)
• Android 2.1
• 8 hours of battery usage (usage and video playback)
• 7 days of standby time (Wow!!)
• 32GB SSD diskspace
• RAM : 512MB of DDR2 memory
• 802.11n WiFi Optional : 3G data, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR
• 1.3 megapixel Webcam
• 1,024 x 600 pixel
• HDMI jack port

As with most Android systems, it comes with apps to edit MS Office documents, an email system and MS exchange support. The browser is not the default browser from android but rather Opera Mobile browser and uses the Tosh media player which support HD 1080p video playback. There is no wording on the price yet of the product.

The spec is to my liking accept for the screen resolution and size.
