World’s thinnest 2.5 inch Internal Drive

Seagate has announced the worlds thinnest 2.5 inch drive called the ‘Momentus Thin'.

This could mean a lot of new possibilities for Smartbooks and Netbooks. It is still noticed that maximum people like the idea of using a HDD instead of a SSD. So its for us to see how the market shifts because of this hardware.

I just hope the majority of smartbooks will get this one instead of slow & cheap SSD.

Only time can tell as we are yet to see some updates on these products.

Glad to hear that. I guess the more news/info you bring in, the more things we can discuss here, thus the more people will likely signup to this forum.
